Creative Cosmetics would like to include exerpts on different fashion trends in the cosmetic industry on our web page. Here is an example from "Beauty and the Blog" of Fashion Trends in the Cosmetic Industry:
http://blog.sephora.com/Quick: You Can Only Pick One ProductIn the New York Fashion week post-mortem there’s been a lot of agreeing—everyone wants every.single.piece of Marc Collection, LAMB was a super fun way to end the week!—and disagreeing—is that pint-sized blogger is a phenom. v please, call me when she experiences Paris. There have also been a few questionable matter-of-facts, including a mystery twitter feed and the rumor that piling on the beauty products is a thing of seasons past. In fact, as the girls at
Allure recently reported, it seems that lipstick is getting its big day as a double- triple and even quad-duty on faces moving forward. Now, I’ll readily admit that I mix-and-match product all over my face. A super-light toned concealer has become my shadow lightner, prep-step and corner brightener. I often use a highlighting stick on cheeks and brow bones and if you’ve ever read this blog in the past two years, you know that I’m obsessed with the multitasking properties of
Rosebud Salve. Part of what I love about the experimenting with different products on different areas stems to my interest in finger blending and seamless complexion coverage. But I wonder, if I had to do it up for a big event, interview or meeting with the in-laws would I really be able to rely on a single product to do it? What do you think? Could you survive—and do an entire face—with a single beauty tool. And what would that little bit of magic be? Post pics too! That would be so much fun! Swak –Jenna Mahoney
